Interdisciplinary Research: The How and Why of Cross- Department CollaborationsPresented by the School of Communication Graduate Student Organization on March 3rd from 3-4:30 in 3116 Derby Hall. Research collaboration can bring several challenges. In this panel discussion, we will examine how to benefit from interdisciplinary research, how to establish relationships with collaborators, and how to address common theoretical and methodological gaps. While the Q&A will focus on a communication perspective, students from all disciplines are invited to attend. Food and refreshments will be provided. Speakers to include: Dr. Shelly Hovick, Dr. Jesse Fox, Dr. Kelly Garrett, and Dr. Joyce Wang.
