Non-School of Communication Ohio State Students
Are you a current Ohio State student thinking of switching your major to communication or journalism?
Students are required to complete a virtual Major Information Session before scheduling an individual advising appointment with a School of Communication advisor. Students can declare pre-communication or pre-journalism at the end of the info session module.

Prospective High School or Transfer Students

We recommend arranging your appointment at least 2-3 weeks in advance as our appointments fill quickly. During peak registration times, meetings for prospective students may be extremely limited or unavailable. Appointments are required. In addition, we encourage prospective students to arrange an Admissions Overview and Tour to learn about Ohio State's application and admissions requirements.
