Ohio State is in the process of revising websites and program materials to accurately reflect compliance with the law. While this work occurs, language referencing protected class status or other activities prohibited by Ohio Senate Bill 1 may still appear in some places. Susan Kline Elected as University Senator

Susan Kline, associate professor, was recently elected to serve a three-year term as a University Senator representing the College of Arts and Sciences. Her term will begin in Fall 2017 semester and conclude in Spring 2020. 

The University Senate is a body of 137 members representing three constituencies: 70 faculty, 26 administrators and 41 students. The Senate meets at least seven times throughout the academic year and their meetings are open to all members of the University community.
