Bombshell Documentary Screening + Panel Discussion
Free & Open to the Public
Welcome! This page provides full details and registration for the upcoming screening of Bombshell followed by a panel discussion featuring the filmβs creators and faculty from Ohio Stateβs School of Communication.
The documentary tells the story of how the U.S. government covered up the harmful radiation effects of the atomic bomb after it was dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki in 1945 ending World War II. It also tells of how the mainstream media appeared to believe the government's version of the bomb's effects in the name of showing wartime support.
