PhD Students Receive $10,000 in Research Funding

Communication PhD students Emma Fete, Golnoosh Behrouzian, and Aysenur Dal received funding from the Mershon Center to support their dissertation research this year. Combined, the students will receive $10,000 through this competitive grant program that only funds about one-third of requests. This year, communication was the third most funded department in the university among graduate applicants behind the military history and political science graduate programs.
