My research interests focus on populist communication, including its characteristics and effects. Specifically, I study the features of populist messages that make them effective and persuasive, as well as how these messages interact with individual-level characteristics such as anger and anxiety. Additionally, I examine various outcomes, including message evaluation and belief in conspiracy theories.
