Kerry Christopher is a lecturer in The Ohio State University School of Communications, teaching Persuasive Communications, Public Speaking and PR Experience. In addition, he is faculty advisor for The PRactice, OSU’s student-run PR firm, guiding client campaigns that achieve measurable engagement and media results.

Kerry has 30 years of experience as a professional communicator working for large global companies. In 2025, he founded Open Road Communications, where he partners with organizations to create narratives that enhance clarity, accelerate adoption of change initiatives and strengthen employee engagement.

He was previously vice president of communications for Cardinal Health, a Fortune 14 company located in Dublin, Ohio, where he supported the CEO of the Pharmaceutical and Specialty Solutions Segment and led a team of communications professionals responsible for all aspects of internal and external communications. He spent much of his career working for General Motors in Detroit, Michigan, where he worked in assembly plants, launched new cars and led internal communications. He also worked for Goodyear Tire & Rubber in Akron, Ohio, launched new cars for Volkswagen in Herndon, Virginia, and opened Hyundai’s first US automotive assembly plant in Montgomery, Alabama.

Kerry lives in central Ohio with his wife and their seven children.
