Ross Wins National Award for Minority-Journalism Research
Associate Professor Felicia Ross received the J. William Snorgrass Award at the 2025 American Journalism Historians Association Convention, honoring her outstanding contributions to minority-journalism research and elevating Ohio State’s national scholarly impact.
Associate Professor Felecia Ross appeared in the PBS documentary Bombshell, a documentary about the history and media coverage of the atomic bomb, where she discussed how the Black press responded differently. The School of Comm hosted a screening of the documentary in March, followed by a panel discussion moderated by Lantern Faculty Advisor Spencer Hunt featuring Ross and the film’s producer and director.
