Coronel Uses Eye-Tracking to Predict Children’s Science Learning with AI

Associate Professor Jason Coronel recently co-authored a study with Associate Professor Alex Bonus, Adjunct Assistant Professor Matt Sweitzer and graduate students that was published in the Journal of Communication. 

The study tracked children’s eye movements while they watched a science video and used AI models that link new information with prior knowledge to more accurately predict learning outcomes.
