Ohio State is in the process of revising websites and program materials to accurately reflect compliance with the law. My research focuses on persuasive message effects. Specifically, I aim to disentangle how various message features interact with audience identity to influence message processing. To do this, I analyze cognitive, metacognitive, and affective processes.
