Ohio State is in the process of revising websites and program materials to accurately reflect compliance with the law. While this work occurs, language referencing protected class status or other activities prohibited by Ohio Senate Bill 1 may still appear in some places. However, all programs and activities are being administered in compliance with federal and state law.

She wrote and received a $10,000 grant from the University Center for the Advancement of Teaching that focused on the training of graduate teaching assistants, including the development of a manual that provides extensive guidelines and practical advice for teaching Persuasive Communication.

In addition to her teaching responsibilities, Kristie has served as a STEP faculty mentor and advisor to three student organizations.

She speaks professionally on teacher training, interpersonal and group communication, and presentation skills.
