Ohio State is in the process of revising websites and program materials to accurately reflect compliance with the law. While this work occurs, language referencing protected class status or other activities prohibited by Ohio Senate Bill 1 may still appear in some places. However, all programs and activities are being administered in compliance with federal and state law.

My research explores social comparisons on social media, focusing on the cognitive processes underlying these experiences and examining how they differ across diverse walks of life. I also investigates how these dynamics vary across platforms and how social media can foster both positive and negative outcomes for users' well-being. By identifying the triggers behind these cognitive and emotional responses, my work aims to support healthier and more informed social media practices for all.
