Alumni of Ohio State’s journalism program, current and former Lantern leaders and contributors and supporters of The Lantern attended a Lantern alumni reunion on Oct. 20.
Students, faculty and alumni gathered to network and hear updates on the award-winning work of The Lantern. The event also featured a panel of five Ohio State alumni:
- Bruce Vilanch, Emmy-Award-winning writer for the Oscars, actor and TV personality
- Jeff Charney, founder & chief creative officer at MKHSTRY, former chief marketing officer at Progressive Insurance
- Jocelyn Dorsey, Hall of Fame Journalist inducted by the Georgia Association of Broadcasters
- Erin Moriarty, host of CBS 48 Hours
School of Communication Director Kelly Garrett and The Lantern Faculty Advisor Spencer Hunt shared about The Lantern’s upcoming move to a much larger and more visible space on the first floor of the Journalism Building.
