Stecuła Shares Research on Impact of Misinformation

Assistant Professor Dominik Stecuła recently co-authored a chapter to an Oxford University Press volume on climate obstruction. The chapter explores the political and psychological roots of climate misinformation and its impact on public opinion. He also discussed his research in an episode of the Drilled podcast focused on the psychology of misinformation and why it works.

Stecuła also co-authored a September article in The Conversation about the use of misinformation about vaccines in the creation of public narratives, and he was quoted in a story by WOSU Public Media on the impact of violent political rhetoric following the muder of Charlie Kirk.
