The Ohio State University School of Communication was recently named among the top 20 sports broadcasting schools. The Sportscasters Talent Agency of America published the ranking.

The Ohio State student newspaper, The Lantern, has consistently published articles covering Ohio State sports. In addition, Scarlet and Gray Sports Radio is the official student-run radio for Ohio State Athletics.

The top sports broadcasting universities all share quality instruction, a campus radio and/or television station, and alumni involvement. 

It has been nine years since STAA published its initial Top 20 ranking in 2013. The list has remained largely the same over the past decade.
