PRSSA Welcomes Distinguished Alumnus on April 19

Sander Flaum

On Wednesday, April 19, the Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) The Ohio State University Chapter hosted distinguished alumnus, Sander Flaum at their weekly meeting. 

Flaum is a business leader, marketing and sales effectiveness coach, motivational speaker and best-selling author. He received his undergraduate degree at Ohio State and his MBA from Fairleigh Dickinson University. He now lives in New York City and serves as the Principal of Flaum Navigators, an organization that accelerates business growth through transformational ideas that galvanize leadership, brand building and innovation. An active alumnus, Flaum serves on the boards of the College of Arts and Sciences, Fisher College of Business and The James Cancer Center. 

At the meeting, Flaum provided students with advice using his fourth book, Boost Your Career: How to Make an Impact, Get Recognized, and Build the Career You Want, which will be released in August, as a guide. His advice included step outside your comfort zone, find a mentor, be competitively proactive and be well-read.
