Alumnus Ben Johnson (PhD, '14) has been named a new editor of the Media Psychology journal.

Johnson is an assistant professor in the department of advertising at the University of Florida's College of Journalism and Communications. His research focuses on the psychological processes of selecting and sharing persuasive messages in new media settings. He has authored more than two dozen peer-reviewed publications.
