Ohio State is in the process of revising websites and program materials to accurately reflect compliance with the law. While this work occurs, language referencing protected class status or other activities prohibited by Ohio Senate Bill 1 may still appear in some places. On April 30, Dr. Nicole Kraft, associate professor of clinical communication, was featured in the English edition of El País.

Kraft provided context to Fox News’ recent expulsion of Tucker Carlson. She explained that Carlson’s ability to connect with his audience caused a surge in Fox’s popularity, particularly during the Trump administration and the Jan. 6 insurrection. Therefore, although the news organization has dismissed notable presenters before, Carlson's dismissal caused more negative impact on Fox than previous ones.

Additionally, Kraft gave insight into the improbability of Fox News turning moderate in coming years. She cited former instances in which the outlet prioritized its partisan reputation over accurate coverage.
