Associate Professor of Practice Nicole Kraft was featured in a package produced by the Columbus Blue Jackets on March 20. The package, consisting of a video and a newsletter, highlighted eight influential women in the Columbus hockey community and their impact on hockey, on and off the ice.

Kraft was recognized for being a board member for the Columbus Ice Hockey Club, covering the Columbus Blue Jackets for the Associated Press and introducing young female journalists to the field through her academic role. 

Kraft spoke on the opportunities that have opened up for women since the beginning of her career and how the Columbus hockey community has cultivated a supportive environment for women in the industry.
