Erik Nisbet Weighs in on Russia's Involvement in the U.S. Election

Erik Nisbet

An essay exploring Russia's power in the 2016 U.S. election written by Associate Professor Erik Nisbet was recently published on the Center of Public Diplomacy's blog.

Nisbet's essay is on the belief in Russia's disinformation and the 2016 election based on a recent survey that was partially funded by Ohio State's School of Communication as part of the Comparative National Elections Project (CNEP). It was a nationally representative online survey of 1950 respondents conducted by the polling firm YouGov with an AAPOR response rate of 27 percent. William Eveland, communication and political science professor, and Caroll Glynn, communication professor, collaborated on the survey.
