Carrizo's Labor and Life Exhibit Debuts Sept. 13

Leonardo Carrizo

Join Leonardo Carrizo for Franklinton Friday and the premiere of his new art exhibit "Labor and Life" Sept. 13 from 7:00-9:30 p.m. at 400 West Rich.

Carrizo's exhibit is a visual exploration and homage to the diversity of work, people and cultures of Ecuador. He travelled and documented people engaging in various types of labor from the Andes mountains to the Pacific coast, capturing moments of daily life along the way.

The evening, sponsored by Ohio State's STEAM Factory, will also feature a presentation by Dr. Asimina Kiourti, Dr. Katherine Walton and Dr. Jordan Clark entitled "Knowing our Environments: Applications of Sensors, Far and Wide." This collaborative presentation features work across diverse disciplines to tackle topics related to communication.

For more information about Franklinton Fridays, visit the 400 West Rich website or the STEAM Factory website.
