Campbell Named ICA Fellow

Professor Scott Campbell, Rinehart Chair in Mediated Communication, was named an International Communication Association Fellow at the Annual ICA Conference in Denver Colorado in June. Being nominated and named an ICA Fellow is a recognition of distinguished scholarship contributions in the broad field of communication.

Campbell also serves as the vice chair of ICA’s Mobile Communication Division and an associate editor for the Journal of Computer-Mediated Communication. His research explains the social uses and consequences of mobile media and communication.
In being named an ICA Fellow, Campbell joins eight other Ohio State School of Comm faculty with this distinction:
