Bushman on Gun Violence: It's More than Video Games

Brad Bushman

Researcher and professor Brad Bushman spoke on the factors that lead to gun violence after the August 4 mass shooting in Dayton, Ohio.

Bushman, in his decades of research, as found that "violent video games and certain personality traits are important factors in violent human behavior — but they are not the root cause of our nation's mass shootings."

He explained that personality predispotitions and accessibilty to guns are also important factors.
