Snapchat recently launched their latest feature, Snap Map, which lets users see their friends locations and what they’re doing at any given moment. Joseph Bayer, assistant professor, was featured in the Los Angeles Times discussing the potential Snap Map has to rise above other failed app location-sharing features. Bayer has conducted research on social media, social networks and mobile technologies, including research on Snapchat.
