This fall, the School of Communication welcomed new lecturer Karen Bailey. Bailey is the founder and chief strategist at Alignd on Purpose, a consulting business dedicated to helping companies define their purpose and align their business around it. She is a former president of Central Ohio PRSA and previously served as associate vice president at Fahlgren Mortine and vice president of marketing communications at Washington Prime Group, formerly Glimcher Realty Trust.

She will teach Strategic Communication courses such as COMM 2321: Writing for Strategic Communication and COMM: 3334 Strategic Message Design.
