The Ohio State University School of Communication alumna, Aurora Stromberg was the guest speaker at a recent Public Relations Student Society of America meeting. She discussed her role as Social Media Coordinator for Victoria’s Secret and offered advice to current students. 

Stromberg graduated in May 2015 with a degree in Strategic Communication. She also served as the PRSSA Ohio State Chapter President for the 2013-2014 school year. At the meeting, she explained what led to the start of her career at Victoria’s Secret, what her job entails and what she loves about the marketing and public relations industry. Stromberg started her current job a few months before graduation and now works to develop relevant content for all of Victoria’s Secret’s social media platforms.

“Social is an amazing sector of PR and it's something that's not going away,” she added while sharing some do’s and don’ts for social media usage. She discussed recent social media trends and gave those in attendance her tips for building and maintaining connections in the industry.
