The 2021-2022 School of Communication Scholarship Application is now open and available! Applications may be submitted up until 11:59pm on Monday, February 1, 2021.
The School of Communication is honored to offer many scholarships to students in the major based on need and merit, awarded in the name of some of our most distinguished and committed alumni. During the 2020-2021 academic year, more than $100,000 in scholarships and awards were given to students in the School of Communication. Students are recognized for their achievements by the School's faculty and staff at the annual Scholarship Award Ceremony held each Spring.
In order to prepare to apply sometime before February 1, please review the attached documents. The first is a complete listing of all the 2021-2022 School of Communication Scholarship Awards available, and the second attachment includes the specific questions and details about the online application itself. These documents are important because as part of the application process you must select the specific award(s) for which you wish to be considered, as well as provide a brief explanation of how you fit the stated criteria for each award selected. You will only be considered for the specific award(s) that you select. Your justification statement will be very important in the selection process so please spend some time reviewing the scholarship listing and the application questions so that you are prepared to complete the online application in one sitting. Unfortunately with this online application, it is not possible to save your application and return at a later time so please be prepared and have your responses saved/written before going into the system to apply.
