You are invited to the GSO's event, "Getting It Write: Ins and Outs of Publishing", November 18th from 3-4:30.  Speakers to include Dr. Brad Bushman, Dr, Shelly Hovick, and Missy Robinson. Light refreshments will be provided. 

Publishing is an important part of becoming a well-rounded scholar. There are many misperceptions of what kind of publications graduate students should be pursuing and how to approach them. To address this, we hope to discuss certain aspects of publishing that are often over looked. This panel discussion will cover the various aspects of publishing, including topics ranging from publishing outside of communication, writing non-journal publications, writing publications as a graduate student, and generating press interest. Q&A will follow panel discussion. Light refreshments will be provided.
