We are excited to welcome new hires Bingjie Liu and Sara Grady to the School of Communication faculty.

Bingjie Liu received her PhD in mass communications from Pennsylvania State University. Her work explores the processes and outcomes of human-machine communication. Liu’s research projects focus on the experience of human-artificial intelligence interaction and ethics in data sharing. She will start as a communication technology assistant professor in autumn 2023.

Sara Grady received her PhD in communication from Michigan State University. As a media psychologist, Grady’s work discusses media messages and their effects on people. Grady uses a mix of qualitative and quantitative methods, including content analysis and experimental procedures, and non-invasive and behavioral measures of processing, selection and effects. Grady starts as a strategic communication assistant professor in autumn 2023.
