Congratulations to Ohio State Lecturer Katie Thomas for being elected PRSSA 2024-2026 National Professional Adviser. Thomas will begin her two-year term on June 1 where she will guide PRSSA chapter operations, help chapters discover and connect with professional advisers and assist in the professional development of Chapter members.

Thomas has previously served as chair of the PRSA Young Professional Mentor Program at Otterbein University and president of PRSA’s Central Ohio Chapter. She has received the Central Ohio PRSA Walt Seifert Award for Outstanding Service, been inducted into the 2020 PRSSA Hall of Fame, received the prestigious Central Ohio PRSA Tom Poling Practitioner of the Year and was named to Columbus Business First’s 40 Under 40 for her professional and community efforts.
