Mary Sterenberg, assistant professor - clinical, received the Outstanding Advisor award at the 2021 Student Life Leadership Awards for her role as advisor of the Public Relations Student Society of America chapter at Ohio State.

Sterenberg, nominated by student PRSSA president Allyson Williams, has been advising the chapter for 10 years. The chapter has consistently earned national Star Chapter awards and has remained one of the largest chapters in the nation. Students travel to PRSSA International Conference and to New York City on a networking trip annually. 

The award ceremony took place on April 9 on Facebook Live.
