Assistant Professor Dominik Stecuła, along with collaborators, was featured in PLOS: Neglected Tropical Diseases for their research detailed in the paper titled "Combating climate-induced health threats through Co-Constitutive Risk (CCR) Messaging: A One Health Communication approach."

The study investigates the impact of CCR Messaging, a technique that integrates communication about climate change and health risks to enhance public support for both pharmaceutical interventions and climate change mitigation policies. The findings suggest that by associating broader issues like climate change and vaccination with specific health risks such as mosquito-borne diseases, the public, particularly individuals skeptical about climate change, can better understand and may be more likely to support related policies.
