Professors publish paper on partisan and racial “difference” in political discussion
School of Communication professors Osei Appiah and William Eveland worked with Paul Beck, professor of Political Science at Ohio State, on a paper that finds that Americans are more likely to encounter partisan and racial “difference” in their political discussion networks than prior research had suggested.
Their research looked at data from two representative surveys and captured exposure to political and racial differences that may have been “hidden” in previous research.
