School of Communication graduating senior Isa Renteria and Assistant Professor of Practice Mary Sterenberg received recognition at the Central Ohio PRSA PRism Awards in May. 

Renteria received the Outstanding Graduate PRism Award, which recognizes a PRSSA member from one of the six sponsored PRSSA Chapters in Central Ohio. This is the third consecutive year  Ohio State’s nominee has been awarded this honor.

Sterenberg was awarded the Walt Seifert Award for Outstanding Service to PRSSA, which recognizes a chapter member for their commitment and contributions to the profession and PRSSA.

Renteria was president of Ohio State’s PRSSA chapter for the 2023-2024 school year before graduating in May with a degree in Strategic Communication and minors in Professional Writing and Media Production & Analysis. Post-graduation, Renteria accepted an internship position at Geben Communication.

Sterenberg serves as one of Ohio State’s PRSSA Faculty Advisors.
