Congratulations to the Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) chapter at Ohio State for receiving third place for the Pacesetter Award from PRSSA National for its efforts in fall 2023. The chapter received an honorable mention Pacesetter Award for its Spring 2023 work. This makes Ohio State the first PRSSA chapter in Ohio to win the award since 2017.

Chapter recipients of the Pacesetter Award are decided by the PRSSA 2023-2024 National Committee based on a chapter’s success in the areas of membership, national participation and/or chapter development. Specifically, the chapter was recognized for increasing chapter membership by over 30% and putting forth substantial effort into promoting a cause, event, theme, etc. through the chapter.
