The Association of Schools in Journalism and Mass Communication hosted a Centennial Celebration and recognized its 10 founding schools, including The Ohio State University. Professor Silvia Knoblock-Westerwick attended the conference and accepted the award on behalf of the School of Communication for Ohio State.

The ASJMC Centennial Celebration was held at West Virginia University on Aug. 11.
