The Lantern beat the Team Up North and raised a record high $25,285 with this year’s Rivalry Edition, produced in partnership with The Michigan Daily.

The donated money supports The Lantern’s move into their new home on the first floor of the Journalism Building. Donations will help fill the new space with computers, cameras, equipment and furnishings needed to ensure The Lantern newsroom remains a collaborative, investigative and creative space for student reporters.

The two student news outlets partner annually to produce the special issue commemorating the Ohio State-Michigan football rivalry game. The School of Communications thanks everyone who contributed to and promoted the contest.
