Hovick's Study on Infectious Diseases, COVID-19 and Zika

Assistant professor Shelly Hovick's new study sheds light on how people seek information about infectious diseases, and it compares the novel coronavirus with Zika.

"The Zika virus and the coronavirus have important things in common,” said Hovick. “In both cases, they are shrouded in uncertainty and have received a lot of media attention."
