Congratulations to Christina Henry, Ralph Martins and Jorge Cruz Ibarra for passing their PhD candidacy exams. Henry and Martins are from the Spring 2023 class and Cruz Ibarra is from the Fall 2023 class.

Candidacy exams are taken when graduate students are in the process of finishing all required coursework for the PhD program. These exams are partially written and partially oral. When both portions are successfully completed, students advance to candidacy.
