Assistant professor Matthew Grizzard's recent study found that people enjoy stories with revenge more than stories of forgiveness.

“We like stories in which the wrongdoers are punished and when they get more punishment than they deserve, we find it fun,” said Grizzard.

The study was published in Communication Research online journal.
