Ohio State is in the process of revising websites and program materials to accurately reflect compliance with the law. While this work occurs, language referencing protected class status or other activities prohibited by Ohio Senate Bill 1 may still appear in some places. However, all programs and activities are being administered in compliance with federal and state law.

Assistant Professor Sara Grady’s study “Early Adolescents Can Extract Distinct Moral Lessons from Narrative Media Content” was published in Media Psychology on June 6.

The research content analyzed children's responses to media stories, focusing on different moral values, to demonstrate that they could distinguish and recognize specific moral messages in content. These building blocks help researchers understand what kids glean from media and how it might influence their moral development and thinking.
