The School of Communication director, faculty, staff and students offer their condolences to alumna Josie Rubio’s friends and family.

Josie died Dec. 3 after a six-year battle with Hodgkin’s lymphoma.

After receiving her B.A. in Journalism from Ohio State University in 1998, Josie worked as a writer and editor in New York City. She blogged about her terminal illness and wrote an op-ed for The New York Times in August titled “Dating While Dying."
