Roberts Awarded Grant from the University’s Seed Fund for Racial Justice

Lecturer Jasmine Roberts is part of an interdisciplinary team who was recently awarded a $25,000 grant from the university’s Seed Fund for Racial Justice. In addition, the team received a $25,000 match from the Global Arts + Humanities Discovery Theme.
The team project is led by Dr. Ranthony Edmonds. The case study will be the first comprehensive historical study of Black mathematicians at a single U.S. institution. Roberts serves as a co-investigator where she plans to oversee and examine the strategic communication and digital storytelling aspect of the case study.
