The Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) of The Ohio State University won a Star Chapter Award when the group traveled to Indianapolis recently for the PRSSA National Conference. The Star Chapter Award is a distinction that chapters of any size can earn by meeting specific chapter and professional development goals.

To win this award, a PRSSA chapter must fulfill eight of 10 requirements. One newly required component of eligibility this year was conducting high school outreach. This means the Ohio State chapter completed this requirement and seven additional requirements including attending a PRSSA conference and completing at least one community service project.
