Huskey receives award at ICA Conference

Assistant Professor Richard Huskey was named the 2017 Annie Lang Dissertation Award recipient for the Information Systems Division of the International Communication Association.

Huskey’s research focuses on the intersection of media psychology and cognitive neuroscience in the emerging research area known as Media Neuroscience. Through his work in the Cognitive Communication Science Lab, his research investigates motivation and media engagement, attitude and behavior change and the influence of moral narratives.

Emma Grubaugh, a junior Strategic Communication major, was one of the Outstanding Positional Leader Award winners for her role as Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) Ohio State Chapter president for the 2016-2017 school year.
